Stunning Beech Avenue, Dorset 🌳 . This road is such a joy to travel down, especially with the low sun seeping through the trees . The avenue was a birthday gift to the mother of the resident of Kingston Lacy back in 1835 and apparently is lined with 365 trees on side and 366 the other for everyday of the year (including a leap year) . . . . . #kingstonlacy #beechavenue #beautifulroads #dorset #do...

"A really relaxing place to wander around and enjoy the beautiful gardens. If you want a tour of the gardens, there's a history tour or horticultural tour. All the staff are very knowledgeable and are well versed in all aspects of the property and open to any questions you may have. The café is very nice with seating inside or outside, there are toilets as well. We spent 4 and half hours there and could have spent longer. The Japanese garden was so full of colour, I look forward to coming again in the summer and autumn"

"When the weather was looking unsettled, we were looking for somewhere to visit whilst on holiday. Taking advantage of our membership, we decided on Kingston Lacy.
We had no idea our visit would be so enjoyable! The house was full open, right up to the attic rooms where was amazing.
Then after some lunch inside the stable cafe we ventured back out into the garden's. Duckling fortunately inside between a few showers, we were blown away by the Silent space and Japanese Garden's before finishing off with the journey down to the Kitchen garden.
From the lovely lady in the makeshift entrance, to all the volunteer guides inside the house. All were very pleasant and made the day with their knowledge.

Thank you"
