If you didn’t see my story from last night, I got pretty excited about the golden hour we had during E&Ws engagement shoot up on the Bath Skyline. We did visit the Royal Crescent first but they will get shared another time as I thought I’d bring the heat again. Looking forward to their wedding later this year at @pristonmill working alongside @erinocainfilm fort the first time. / / / #bathskyline...

Visitors rave about the Bath Skyline Walk for its spectacular, free panoramic views of the city and its peaceful countryside setting. While the 6-mile route can be challenging with steep sections and uneven paths, most agree the stunning vistas and natural beauty make it well worth the effort. It's a highly recommended experience for those seeking a dose of nature and impressive cityscapes.

"Great free experience. Walkable just bring sneakers. Slightly uphill.

Park on side of the street if you one by car.

Very peaceful and you get a vast grassy expanse view with the city skyline to the far distance."

"The Bath skyline walk is fantastic 👌 It not only takes you out into Beautiful countryside but also gives you fantastic views over the city of Bath. The route is about 6 miles and took us about 3 5 hours although we weren't speedy. Keep an eye out for the yellow direction arrows and you will be fine, although there are a couple of areas where there are no markers for a bit.
Spectacular views and we kind of wished we had taken a picnic but sadly we didn't.
The route can be steep up and down hill in places and there are a few sets of steps. Also the path especially through wooded areas can be uneven and rough under foot and there are a couple of obstacles to navigate, but then this is a country walk. The paths around Claverton down are very flat and easy under foot. Was nice seeing they were restoring dry stone walls.
Definitely wear sensible shoes and take water 👌It's a good route and has stunning views, if you take small children expect to end up carrying them. Probably not suitable for people unsteady on their feet.
Definitely worth the experience and we walked back to the city centre along the canal."

"Great viewpoint overlooking the elegant city of Bath, forming part of a 6 mile walking trail taking in city streets and rural surroundings. The full walk takes over 3 hours to complete, and is rewarded with great aerial views of the city's most recognisable landmarks.
For a shorter walk, one of the best viewpoints can be accessed from the gate to the east of Prior Park Landscape Garden. This spot, on a steep hillside in an area of limestone grassland, offers one of the finest views of the Bath skyline and surrounding wooded hills. It's also a good place to see wildflowers in spring.
There's no official parking for the Bath Skyline walk, but it can be accessed on foot from Bath Spa railway station in around 25 minutes."
