What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the stunning panoramic views of Bath, especially towards the end of the walk. The varied natural scenery, including fields and woodlands, is also a highlight. However, some find that the best views are concentrated in a smaller portion of the walk, and the terrain can be challenging and muddy, requiring sturdy footwear.
"Loved Pryor Park then heading out to walk the skyline to town. Highly recommended!"
Jennifer
"The views are lovely, but you only experience them for a small portion of the walk. Open fields, woodlands, and farmland are the majority of the walk. Being overweight and unfit (but training for a mountain climb) I found it not too challenging - we started from Cleveland Walk. Walking boots a must as squelchy/slippery mud and uneven ground in some places. There are lots of interesting spots along the route and very clearly signposted."

"Very enjoyable walk for hiking amateurs. Nearly all the views are towards the end of the circuit. Once you get out beyond the uni, the views drop off and you just walk. But it's all worth it once you get back towards bath and are presented with panoramic views of the city. Saw a pretty funky orchid and rock formation too. Lovely stuff"

The Route and Terrain
It's important to note that parts of the trail are not suitable for those with mobility issues or poor vision, and it is largely not wheelchair accessible due to the uneven terrain and natural pathways.
