The reason that it has limited access to the public is to protect the very valuable species present. It is open on Tuesdays 2-4 and Saturdays all Summer from 2-5pm for the public and the rest of the week is at full capacity providing environmental teaching and forest schools for the local children and young people. There are also nice seasonal events taking place."
