"A very pleasant walk with stunning views of the mountains and countryside. The weather was mixed so made the skies moody which was photogenic. It was quite but has atmosphere. Were able to walk on the estuary sand which even at low tide still has a bit of “suck” in places so I would recommend stout shoes or walking boots. The good thing is the sand is clean so a dry and brush sees the boots right. Places to eat and shops, a pleasant vibe, sort of how I would imagine the 1970’s, nostalgia and unspoiled b"

"Quaint marina that has a bit of an olde world feel to it. Lovely views across the estuary, to the railway bridge inland, and the sea off the coast. Saw some folks catching and carefully releasing small crabs to the delight of their small children. Public conveniences were clean and working. An easy walk into the high street and you can also catch a small boat to ferry you across the estuary to Fairbourne. Spotted some cute grey seals basking on the rocks nearby."
