Not that I am expert but aside from ducks I have seen at least 8 species of birds. Don't ask me to name them. 🤫

"Ashstead is beautiful. This lovely secluded wooded park has interesting trees and ponds. Don’t forget get some duck food as they will follow you around the ponds. Plan where you are going to park before making your journey.
Once you have completed your walk you can pop over to Ashstead garden centre for some refreshments!"

There is a large and smaller pond to walk around and feed the ducks and geese.
Lots of shaded woodland areas if it's a really hot day.
