What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Ash End House Children's Farm for its interactive animal experiences and the excellent Play Barn, making it a fantastic value day out for families. While the farm itself is well-maintained and engaging, some visitors have noted instances of uncomfortable interactions with other patrons, with a lack of staff intervention in one reported case.
"Came on Saturday for a day out with my brother and his son. It was a lovely day with lots to do. We arrived around 10 o’clock and did the soft play for 2 hours first which was amazing! It consistent of a bouncy pillow, mini golf and even a ninja warrior area!
We headed into the farm after this. We left around 4 o’clock in the afternoon so we had a really lovely day. My children loved stroking the baby chickens and really enjoyed the tractor ride. We took our own pack lunch but the menu in the soft play looked really good. Lots to choose from, I thought there was something for everyone. Health and safety is also on point here too which is good.
What I will say is to be very weary of other people. There was a group of disabled people on a day out with carers and one of the guys was extremely abusive towards me and called me horrible names Infront of the my children. Using words I would never personally use. There was no staff on hand to intervene and his carer just stood there. I felt really uncomfortable. It ruined my whole day truthfully and I wouldn’t be in a rush to return even though it was a good day out."

"What an amazing interactive farm ,it was clean, animals were well kept , you can feed some animals with the carrots you are given in a small bucket .
There were baby chick's ,lizards,snakes,horses,
Sheep, lama's to name a few and also a ride behind a tractor , also our child loved the fact he was able to sit on a pony of his choice and have a photo taken, plenty of hand washing stations and toilet facilities . There is a children's play centre next to the farm it was one of the best play centres I have been to ,with small cafe ,staff were actively involved in the children's safety and were professional , it had different areas of activities of play such as a giant bouncing balloon, a football area ,a giant slide ,plenty of tables ,chairs near the cafe .
Overall an exciting place to visit not only for the children but for the adults as well ."
