"Lovely zoo in a beautiful setting, the paths are well marked and is easy to navigate, it is not a big zoo so you can get around and see everything in around two hours at a leisurely pace. The cafe was nice but they do not serve alcohol, we sat outside on a bench and had a bowl of chips (frozen fries) for £2.50 and a tuna sandwich for £3. The bench was a bit wobbly but overlooked the lake with geese and flamingos..despite the rain it was a lovely place to visit, with very friendly staff. Everything was clean from animal enclosures to the paths and toilets. There is a nice play area for children with a climbing frame and slide. Will visit again when the weather is nicer."

"My family and I visited Amazona Zoo yesterday, and overall, it was quite enjoyable! 👍
Sadly, we had pre-booked a day that turned out to be quite rainy. The admission prices are a bit on the high side, but children aged 4 and under can enter for free. We had a wonderful time exploring the beautiful and fascinating animals on display. There is a wide variety of different species to see. They also provide a fun soft play area and an outdoor play zone, which includes a "giant inflatable pillow." Unfortunately, due to the bad weather, we couldn't use that attraction.
Although we didn't dine at the zoo, there is a cafe that appeared cozy and had plenty of options.
The gift shop is filled with lots of fun and delightful items to buy.
In the end, I rated the zoo 4 stars, partly because the giant inflatable was closed and partly due to the slightly high entry fee. Overall, despite the rain, it was a good day out."
