"What a fantastic venue within walking distance of the town centre. It's a great asset to the town. Lots going on there, too. It's very modern inside, good cafe & bar downstairs and upstairs. All seats have plenty of leg room and a great view of the stage.
Free parking is just around the corner too, which was an added bonus."

"We visited the Alnwick Playhouse recently while on a holiday in Amble. As a wheelchair user the staff could not have any kinder. A lady staff member waited by the open air lift to guide me down and help with any issues, she showed my wife and I to our seats and afterwards as I went to the snacks area the kind young lady behind the counter carried our coffee and snacks right to our seating area. We actually came here to see the new Superman movie and I was absolutely delighted when I realised the movie screen was right down to the floor, I loved this as we were sitting in the front row and it felt like we were watching a 600 inch (guessing the size but not really sure) tv at home, my photos might help to explain this but I found it to be a unique experience and would love to go again one day, the combination of the extremely friendly and helpful staff and the unique viewing experience is something I will always remember."

"We visited recently to watch A Christmas Carol and we had such a positive experience. Really friendly staff who directed us to our seats. The seating was very comfortable. At 6’3” I tend to struggle for comfort but no problems. We’ve been in before to have a coffee and cake and love the atmosphere. Our hope is to move to Alnwick in the near future and make the Playhouse a regular place for us to carry on visiting."
