"Fair amount if parking but can involve a little wait for a space, nice little museum which is free to enter but a little donation doesn't hurt to enter. Good amount of welsh history items to view, and an activity sheet for young children to complete. Nice cafe attached with a good selection of hot food, sandwiches and cakes, not to mention excellent coffee! Gardens have a few nice paths to wander around with a few rope climbs up the embankments if your feeling frisky! Right next to it is also a very good long cycle path, all in all a good way to spend half a day or more."

"A beautiful park with magnificent specimen trees, which are now over 100 years old. The park was designed to show off the River Towy, but the river changed course and now runs on the opposite side of the valley. However, it has left one of the best oxbow lakes in the country. A great place for a stroll with family, friends, and the dog/s. Good to see plenty of benches too if you need to catch your breath. The main part of the park seems fairly accessible, particularly if you have an electric wheelchair or similar.
The museum cafe is open until 5pm if you need a pick-me-up afterwards 😀"

"Nice little place to come and walk just outside of Carmarthen town centre. Dog friendly - but must be kept on a lead. Lots of parking and some disabled parking areas. The pathways are wheelchair friendly. Lots of seating outside and picnic tables. I would say it's about a 30 min walk around the gardens. I didn't visit the museum as it was closed."
