A visit to the famous Masafi Friday market is good for a small break from busy schedule. Though called as Friday Market, it is open all weekdays. One can find items of clay, furniture, carpets, fresh fruits and vegetables and a big variety of goods including souvenirs, local crafts, carpets and rugs, household items, etc. at small shops across both sides of the main road. You need to bargain for most items. Well your bargain skills can really get you good deals here. Masafi is a nice place to have a short break during your long drive to Dibba or Fujairah or Khorfokkan!! The roadside snack shops are a good stopover to saviour locally made fresh sweets, samosas, Kadak tea or bhajiya pakoras.
