"Made it a point to stop at Jun’s while on a short biz trip to Dubai as I’d seen it on TikTok and it looked really great.

Overall, the ambience is great, and the service is amazing - professional team who is very helpful and warm.

I was there for lunch and wanted to get the 3 course set but I filled up by the Mains so I didn’t manage to enjoy the dessert.

As recommended by the staff, I got their szechuan eggplant with hummus - it came with prata (?). Flavours were interesting but didn’t leave too strong of an impression. Tasty but still somewhat one dimensional. For my main, I got the miso sea bass claypot rice as the staff mentioned their claypot rice dishes are rather popular. The sauce was flavourful and the fish was soft and melted in your mouth. But - I know this is purely personal preference - the rice was too moist. I enjoy my claypot rice a little drier, to the point that the rice at the bottom chars and forms a “crust” so I felt like that was missing for me. Still a good dish overall though.

The mocktail - Dill-icious - was really tasty. Because it was tangy, it got my appetite going before the food came. Also very well balanced - not overly sweet and not overly sour."
