But for the full experience, the walkthrough tunnel and underwater zoo are a must. Watching sharks, rays, and hundreds of vibrant fish swim so close feels magical. Great for families, kids, and even adults who love marine life.

The massive aquarium tank inside Dubai Mall is breathtaking, with hundreds of marine species including sharks, rays, and colorful fish swimming right above you. Walking through the tunnel gives you a 270-degree view and makes you feel like you’re actually underwater.
The Underwater Zoo upstairs is just as impressive, featuring crocodiles, otters, and many exotic creatures. The highlight for me was first time seeing the penguins — and fun fact, this is the only place in the world where even camels can go and visit penguins 🐧🐪. It’s educational and entertaining for both adults and kids.
I really enjoyed how well everything is maintained and how friendly the staff were. It’s a bit crowded at times, but absolutely worth visiting when in Dubai Mall. A must-see attraction in the city!"

"We absolutely loved the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo — it’s definitely worth getting the full package to see the penguins, feed the fish, take a boat ride, and even spot the giant crocodiles. The aquarium itself is amazing, with plenty of space for the fish and a great overall experience. The guides along the way were very knowledgeable and added so much value by sharing facts and stories.
The only downside for us was seeing the iguanas and crocodiles in what looked like very small enclosures — it felt a little sad and out of balance compared to the spacious aquarium. Hopefully, these animals will have more room in the future.
Overall, a fantastic and memorable visit, with just this one point leaving us thoughtful."
