"I’ve been living in Lakeside by DAMAC for my first year and always respected community rules. Unfortunately, I received a fine of AED 525 for a small rack that was outside my door — without ever being properly notified.
The so-called “reminder slips” were never handed to me, only left on top of the rack while I was away most of the time. The email from LOAMS was also delivered to my junk folder, so I never saw it. I only found out about the issue after the property owner contacted me directly, and I immediately removed the rack.
Despite explaining this and having no previous violations, the management refused to show any understanding. The fine amount is also inconsistent — they claim the range is between AED 150 and AED 500, yet I was charged the maximum (AED 525) even though no damage was caused.
It’s disappointing to see such poor communication and lack of flexibility from a brand like DAMAC and LOAMS, which are supposed to represent professionalism and high standards. I truly hope the management can review how they handle such minor, first-time cases and treat tenants with more fairness and respect."

"They excel in giving stereotyped responses through AI either here or on social media and calling their customer service is the same anguish. Any self respecting company would be concerned to read the tons of negative reviews here but they are not the least bothered. I am frustrated to the core in traying to address issues with them. The best option is to sell off your units and buy from anyone else except them."

"This company is the worst. They claim that 'you can do everything' on their magic app however in reality it's simply a portal to open support tickets which are sent to some untrained person who can't do anything. Calling or going to the happiness centre is useless as well as they are manned by equally untrained puppets. The only department in this company which is functional is financial billing. They are happy to take your money and give zero service. They are in the dark ages. Endless visits to the office. Print out forms even if they are incorrect. Sign. Stamp and repeat. Someone please tell this company that it's 2025"
