What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Arabia's Wildlife Centre for its educational focus on native Arabian animals, affordability, and comfortable air-conditioned environment, making it a great family outing. Some wish for more interactive exhibits and a wider variety of iconic global animals.
"Arabia’s Wildlife Center is located inside Sharjah Desert Park and is the park’s main attraction. It is an air-conditioned area, making it an ideal destination to visit during the summer. It is a wonderful place to visit with children at a reasonable ticket price.
Do note that park timings differ on Fridays and weekends, so it is best to check before visiting. Only cash is accepted at the ticket counter, so make sure to carry enough cash. Tickets must be purchased from the main gate and the same ticket is valid for all four attractions - Natural History Museum, Children’s Farm and Islamic Botanical Garden, in addition to the Wildlife Center. All attractions can be covered in 3–4 hours and you can drive your car from one attraction to another. Ticket prices are AED 21 for adults, while children under 13 can enter free.
The zoo houses a wide variety of reptiles, fish, birds and animals such as deer, cheetahs, monkeys, camels, etc. All walkways are air-conditioned, make a comfortable and hassle-free experience.
There is also a restaurant where you can enjoy views of the animals through large glass windows while dining. We didn’t try the food, due to the attitude of service staff. Apart from that, our visit was a wonderful experience and truly worth it.
There is an open play area near the Museum, giving kids another reason to enjoy the trip. The Children’s Farm is not air-conditioned, but it is a small section that can be covered in about 30 minutes.
Highly recommended as a must visit place in Sharjah."

"The place is well maintained, wholesome, and a great experience for both kids and adults. It’s very informative and focuses mainly on animals native to the Middle East region, which is nice to learn about.
The only thing holding me back from giving 5 stars is that there aren’t any interactive experiences. It would have been wonderful to have opportunities to touch or interact with some of the animals. Also, while the regional focus is interesting, it would be even more exciting if they added some iconic animals like hippos, lions, tigers, elephants, or alligators to make the experience more diverse."

"🌟 It was a very nice experience.
✅ The place is clean and well-organized.
✅ Learning about the animals of the Arabian Peninsula was very enjoyable and educational, with detailed explanations for each one.
✅ Prices are symbolic and affordable.
✅ A great spot to spend time with family and children.
🔹 Notes:
Payment is cash only; it would be better to add card payment options.
There is a restaurant rest area, but staff should consistently wear hairnets and gloves.
The supermarket at the entrance could be improved.
💡 I highly recommend it for families with children to enjoy a fun and educational time.
Thank you for the wonderful experience. 🙏"

Focus on Arabian Wildlife
Visitors often praise the center for its informative displays, which detail each species' habitat, behavior, and conservation status. While some reviewers wished for more interactive elements or a wider variety of iconic global animals, the commitment to regional wildlife is a significant draw. The center aims to educate the public about the challenges faced by these animals and the efforts being made to protect them, making it more than just an animal viewing experience.
Conservation efforts are at the forefront here, with breeding programs for species like the Arabian leopard and Arabian oryx. This dedication to preserving native wildlife makes Arabia's Wildlife Centre a valuable institution for both education and ecological preservation in the UAE.

Getting around the park is convenient, as you can drive your car between the different sections. This is particularly helpful for families or those who want to maximize their time. The Wildlife Centre itself is designed with air-conditioned walkways, ensuring a comfortable experience even during the hottest months. This thoughtful design makes it an ideal summer destination in the UAE.
Beyond the Wildlife Centre, the Natural History Museum offers insights into the region's geological and biological past, while the Botanical Garden showcases local flora. The Children's Farm provides a more hands-on experience for younger visitors. Together, these components create a well-rounded educational and recreational hub within Sharjah.
