What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Vynnyky Lake elicits strong, divided opinions. While some appreciate the developed 'European quality' and amenities, many criticize the high prices, perceived loss of natural beauty, and questionable water quality. The transformation from a natural lake to a commercial complex has left some feeling it's overpriced and less enjoyable than its former state.
"The planned project is very cool, a structure of this scale is doomed to success!"
Vitaliy Radomsky
"The lake is like a sewer, with a rusty slippery bottom, filled with chlorine, stinks. After it, there are immediately holes and some kind of discharge. Everything is like in a cage, it is not comfortable. Some pins are being driven where the beach is closed. All the trees on the mountain have been cut down and it is not clear who is skiing for 2 minutes of descent. The beautiful view is lost. I do not recommend it. The prices are like in Paris, there is nothing to eat there.
Only a stupid person could do such a horror for such money.
What else? All the negative comments on Instagram are blocked by the devil. When a person writes something they do not like, the comment is deleted.
There was a beautiful beach with trees. They turned the island into a rotten club, they cut down all the green trees. It is terrible. There are few people there now. There used to be no room. On the beach up to 20)
Not beautiful. No green trees. Apart from comfortable batons there is nothing good there and beer in the bar.
Some kind of cage for clowns. You can't give power to one person. A stolen lake."

"Beautiful view. European quality."

The Vynnyky Lake Development Controversy

However, the high entrance fees and perceived lack of value for money are recurring themes in negative feedback.
Visitors are advised to manage their expectations, understanding that Vynnyky Lake is now a commercial recreational zone rather than a pristine natural escape. The debate over its transformation continues, with strong opinions on both sides regarding its current state and cost.
Navigating Vynnyky Lake's Amenities and Costs
Food and drink options within the complex are also cited as being expensive. To make the most of your visit and manage costs, it's highly recommended to bring your own snacks and beverages. This allows for more flexibility and can significantly reduce your overall expenditure.
While the development aims for a modern feel, the perceived value for money remains a significant concern for many. Researching current entrance fees and considering a weekday visit for potentially a less crowded experience might help manage expectations.
