The key to a fulfilling visit lies in taking a guided tour, which brings Gogol's story to life. While the museum is small, its charm and the dedication of the staff make it a worthwhile stop for those interested in Ukrainian literature and history.
"A wonderful tour of Nikolai Gogol's places! The impression of the museum depends entirely on the guide. We were lucky because the guide was Nikolai Vasilyevich himself 🤔 See the photo 😉"

"Good museum. I recommend visiting if possible.
Small - holds 5 rooms, but tells an important part of the history of Ukrainian literature. There is still something to work on, there is something to develop.
Big gratitude to the management for conveying the history of this region to the guests, namely the difficult fate of Gogol and his family.
A lot of criticism towards this institution, but I will defend the museum. Keep in mind that it is located in a village, and the fact that there is such an institution in a Ukrainian village is already a big plus.
Beautiful territory around the museum, everything is full of flowers and greenery. There are amenities. There are thematic souvenirs. There is a guide."

"You definitely need to take a guide, otherwise it's not interesting. You either have to read the pictures and photos yourself before visiting, or already know them and just go for the impressions."
