"We celebrated the anniversary of the capture of Saur-Mogila (August 26-27, 2014) - on August 27, 2017, we climbed the hill and honored the memory of the fallen soldiers by ringing the bell.
At the foot of the hill, the construction of a church is in full swing. The stairs have been cleared of debris - I was at the very first clean-up day in March 2015, then it was difficult to climb up, everything was littered with fragments of stones and slabs of the broken memorial, covered with metal fragments.
Now, little by little, everything is being revived."
