Reviews Summary
Visitors are consistently impressed by the Chernivtsi Art Museum, often highlighting the stunning Art Nouveau architecture as a major draw, sometimes even surpassing the art itself. The collection of Bukovinian and Ukrainian art is appreciated for its regional significance and quality, offering good value for the modest admission fee. Some note it's a regional museum, so don't expect world-renowned masterpieces, but the overall experience is pleasant and surprisingly engaging, especially with modern additions like VR.
"Surprise ! Surprise!

"It's a short but pleasant trot through the museum, quite reasonable value for the price. I'd say the most beautiful art piece is the museum itslf with its magnificent art nouveau craftwork. As a regional museum, it has none of the world's greats, and I admittedly found few profound works that spoke to the soul. But it's a regional museum, you can't expect that
Quite modern with their vr immersion experience, pretty fun.
Overall a great way to spend half an hour"

"Already the architecture of the former k.u.k.-savings bank makes a visit recommendable. Collection is well compared with the size of the city (hey, its not so usual to find such art collections in western europe in cities with less than 500000 inhabitants!).Very nice also to sit in the literature cafe beside and to enjoy a cafe with view to the main square under the painting with Franz Joseph:-)!
10.2.2024 very pleasant and friendly staff!"
