The restored architecture and recreated rooms offer an immersive glimpse into Silk Road history, often enhanced by the knowledgeable and hospitable caretaker. "Now this was a find! A pure case of spur of the moment decision making to follow a brown sign led us here. It was all closed up, so we wandered around the outside to look at the amazing walls. In the time it took us to talk around a gentleman appeared and opened the place up (think he saw us on CCTV).
Not part of museum card, but not expensive.

Inside is great - and if you are lucky, you'll get a tour of the place too.

Allow at least an hour and take your camera for some good shots. All signs/ explanations are in Turkish so take your translator app!"

"Situated on the Konya to Sultanhani road this wonderfully restored Han is a must see.
Individual rooms have been recreated to show different aspects of the workings of the Han during it's use on the Silk Road. The curator was extremely helpful and knowledgeable during our visit.
If you look closely at the building construction you will see many re-used stones from the Classical and Roman periods, also from former churches.
It's just a 2 minute detour off the main road so do not pass by without visiting."
