"It is located close to the Mersin Mezitli district center, the location on the maps is correct. You have to drive to a certain point and walk about 1 km. The castle surroundings are very neglected, full of bushes and thorny plants, so it is useful to be careful. If you are interested in history and architecture, definitely go. There are sarcophagi on the southeast side, but they are filled with soil and covered with bushes, if you look carefully you can see about 10 sarcophagi. I hope the restoration work will start as soon as possible and they will be presented to the attention of our people in the best way possible."

"The last kilometer is on a dirt road. There's a sign directing you to it from the paved road. 500 meters before the castle, the road is blocked by a gate with a padlock. You can walk or bike around. The last 100 meters are completely roadless – through a garden and bushes. Shoes are required, preferably pants. The castle is in severe disrepair and isn't marked in any way. There are no information boards or anything like that. But the site is high, and there's visibility. It's interesting as a short adventure."
