What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Olympus Beach is widely praised for its stunning natural beauty, expansive 4km stretch, and crystal-clear, warm waters. Visitors appreciate its tranquil atmosphere and the unique mix of sand and pebbles, though some note the lack of organized amenities like toilets and showers. The beach's role as a caretta caretta nesting site adds an ecological dimension.
"Beautiful 4km long beach. You can settle on the beach with your umbrella (50m max from the sea border for the turtle). It's a mix of sand and rocks so bring your flip flop. The sea entrance is flat then it drop quickly to 1m80. The view is incredible"

"Amazing beach, with awesome clean water! The water was so warm and charming, that I wished to stay in it uncontinuously. Not so crowded beach, at least from the part we entered (Demir market), after the crowded beach we stayed before with crowds and all the corresponding sounds, this place looked even more magical, silent and calming. For sure I want to return one more time, even a lot of times. Just kind of disadvantage that there is no organised beach, with toilets and shower and again I am adding from the part we entered as the beach is long and big. Highly recommended to visit😎"

"This is the natural habitat and spawning area of the caretta caretta. We have been coming here periodically with family and friends for years to stay. The sea side of the beach has small pebbles, and as you move away from the sea, it is sandy up to 50 meters in places. There are sun loungers and a sunbathing area close to the walking path. I leave you a small picture of this beautiful phosphorescence."
