"Overall good experience. Phenomenal views, great service, good cocktails, food for the most part was impeccable as well. The one hiccup was the dry aged steak for 2. We ordered it medium but it was def rare / medium rare. But they immediately fixed it and apologized. In hindsight I wish I ordered their lamb. The steak was HUGE and compared to other Michelin places they give you a lot of food. The star were the porcini mushroom dishes - to die for 😋. They were also continuously bringing us delicious extras."

"It was my birthday and I was solo in Istanbul and initially wanted to eat at TURK FATIH TUTAK but found out they don’t do single seatings so I booked a table at Mikla instead.

Walking in my expectations were muted for a 1 star Michelin place . But boy did they overdeliver. Purely from a food standpoint every dish was exquisite and not to mention the Turkish wines to match I feel hold up against any French, Italian or Napa valley wines .

For bang for your buck this is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been too anywhere . Well done Chef ! Highly recommend this restaurant."

A heartfelt thank you to the tall gentleman with the white beard who took such wonderful care of us throughout the evening. His warm presence, expertise, and personal touches made us feel so welcomed and transformed a superb meal into an unforgettable celebration.
