"A very beautiful and lively island, with a market, school, police station, Greek neighborhood, PTT building and all small single-storey buildings at the foot of the pier; a little further up is the castle. Bozcaada is a preferred place due to its proximity to the mainland, and should be reached by foot or motorcycle, not by car."

"walking distance to the ferry port
The bazaar is beautiful, it has the consistency of the bazaar of a standard 1 tourism region.
If you can't find what you're looking for here, you won't find it anywhere else.
You can find cafes/restaurants/taverns/bars here, there are mobile stalls selling handmade jam.
If you are going with 4 people and you do not have a car, it makes more sense to use a taxi for transportation within the island.
We were there on the 2nd weekend of September 2024
In general, I think the island is 1-2 clicks more expensive than other tourism regions in terms of food/drink.
Gökçeada is a relatively more affordable place, for example Ayvalık is even more affordable than Gökçeada.
You can visit the whole Bozcaada with a maximum stay of 4 nights, especially if you have a car."

"It's a very small but cute place, it doesn't have everything you're looking for. There are many ice cream shops on the island, many wine tasting places.."
