What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Limanağzı Bay offers stunning natural beauty with crystal-clear waters and unique rock pools, making it a picturesque escape. However, some visitors have noted concerns about cleanliness, loud music from beach clubs, and high prices, leading to mixed experiences.
"This is not actually a beach, there is just stairs going to the water, but the place is very nice. Nice and friendly day staff. No reservation required."

"We walked from Kaş Büyükçakıl using the mountain road continuing the Lycian Way, it took about 45-50 minutes. There are only red and white signs as signs, it is enough to follow them. The road is very steep but not dangerous, but of course it is a mountain road and you have to walk on the rock slope for a very short part of the road, which coincides with the part where the rock tombs are. The view is simply unique, just being here for the view is enough. We entered the sea from the rocks, it was one of the cleanest and clearest seas I have ever entered, and even though there are rocks, you can enter by walking between them like a normal beach and it passes the length after a few meters. In this respect, it is really enjoyable for those who love the deep sea. Also, there are boats to Kaş harbor every 5-10 minutes, if you want to return by boat without climbing up the mountain, this is an alternative, it was a great experience, I definitely recommend it."

"This cove showcases the worst of what locals and tourists have to offer.
In comparison to the north, Kas is full of greedy rude and arrogant locals, and worse tourists...... But this cove here is the ABSOLUTE WORST.
After two hours walking to get here, I had a heat induced seizure. Instead of helping me, or letting me recover, I was yelled at by the locals and told to leave.
After I ignored them and recovered somewhat, I realised the water is NOT even remotely as clean as other coves in the opposite side of Kas... In fact there are old car tyres, rotting rope and rusting metal all over the area in and out of the water, and bottles (broken and unbroken) and trash lying about.
The rich tourist on their boats are also cluttering the waters and I noticed some oil slicks nearby. The day after we went we saw a cruise ship moored outside the bay, probably making it far worse.
Add to this, the horrible music played so loud that you can't hear the person next to you talking, and the extortionate prices.... This place was terrible.
We regretted coming here, and it's hugely depressing to see how these horrible locals and tourists destroyed what should be a beautiful natural area.
Save your money and energy.
Go to the opposite end of Kas. They're cleaner swim areas and marginally nicer (though still SUPER GREEDY)
After coming here we miss the beautiful people of Sirince and Pamukkale.
See ya NEVER Kas."

Some beach clubs play loud music, which could be disruptive for naps or quiet time. It's recommended to choose a quieter beach within the bay or visit during off-peak hours. Understanding the Bay's Atmosphere and Amenities
However, visitor experiences can vary significantly. Some recent reviews express disappointment regarding cleanliness, citing issues with trash like old tires and rusting metal in and around the water.
