"Keçi Castle is a place that has not yet been restored and has not yet been fully opened to tourism. The road is short but a bit rough and winding; low-slung vehicles require careful driving. The weather was cloudy and foggy, we could not see the view, but we still had a different experience, surrounded by nature. The road is not yet fully visible on Google Maps, which makes transportation a bit difficult. There is also a fountain on the road and some very beautiful forest views. Unfortunately, the castle has fallen into disrepair, but with future arrangements, it could become a very interesting spot. It could be a route to stop by on the way to the plateaus for those looking for silence and nature."

"I believe it should be developed into a tourism resource, regardless of the institution it's affiliated with. I don't think we'll see any archaeological excavations carried out, because I don't think it's too late. Cultural heritage needs to be addressed. The story goes that when the city was attacked, the people would take shelter in the castle with their belongings and animals to defend themselves. In such cases, the enemy, who had settled around the castle, would attack the castle during the day but were unsuccessful. The attacks continued for days, and food shortages began in the castle. One night, the people here lit candles on the horns of all the goats in the castle and released them outside. Suddenly, the enemy, believing a large army was approaching, fled and dispersed, and the people of Gerede escaped thanks to their goats. This is where the castle's name comes from."
