"So peaceful and beautiful in this valley! Depending on what end you park there are about 400 steps down to the valley and you come to an old lovely cathedral. Then you can stroll along the creek/river through the valley and enjoy nature in its beauty. There is. Lovely place to rest and enjoy a tea or coffee or even some adult beverages. You will be happy that you took some time to visit this valley."

"One of the most delightful walking areas in Turkiye We hiked the Ihlara Valley River Gorge Trail in Cappadocia. It was another high point of the wonderful tpur we were on I loved the green foliage and clean, clear waterways. There were several church caves along the path. Flowers bloomed gently here and there. A band of guinea hens popped up in a seeded grass area. I was happy in the sunshine and my soul felt refreshed from the multiple days of bus riding.
The Ihlara Valley has an incredible gorge with a stunning river running right down the heart of the valley. Good times!"
