"I found out about this museum by chance as I was planning to go to a hospital near by. I don’t think many people know about this museum due to its location. This is an amazing war museum with tons of items on display. It consists of four floors, each one is more interesting than the other. The models showcased there are very detailed and enjoyable to look at. You’ll be surprised by the huge number of war related collection this museum has."

""Hisart Canlı Tarih Müzesi" is a beautiful museum that is dedicated to different time periods but mostly the ages of Ottoman Empire. The whole place is filled with numerous gorgeous miniatures of various historical events that are very well made. Apart from miniatures the exhibits itself is not just great, it's truly majestic. Weapons that belonged to sultans, armour and guns. There's 5 floors in total and basement so you need to set aside enough time to see everything. The price in question is 1000 Turkish lira for a tourist with discount to kids under the age of 12, but it's worth it totally."

"Best museum experience never seen anything like it. Definitely a must see! 6 floors filled with artifacts, dioramas. Very rich collection of items, swords, pistols, armors, clothing, and many more. Great detailed dioramas where it feels like scenes from movies. There is an actual original german World War II plane on the ground floor. One of the best places to visit in Istanbul. If you are traveling and want to have a more unique museum experience and not wait in crazy lines, then this is the place you must see. I am in awe of all the work that has been put in this museum. The top floor/cafe had dioramas of sci fi films which was very interesting and fun to see as well. Great place to see either as a solo traveler or with friends/family."
