What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Gemiler Beach is praised for its beautiful natural setting, clear waters, and stunning sunsets, offering a more rustic and laid-back experience. Visitors often highlight the delicious local gözleme and fresh grilled fish. However, some find the restaurant overpriced and the facilities basic, with inconsistent pricing practices being a recurring concern.
"Cute beachside restaurant.
No fuss and no frills.
I was concerned with all the negative reviews of this place, but we’d had a recommendation to visit.
Laid back service and menu is “here’s what we have” vibes. Get the fish. It’s good. Chips and salad. Great with the fish. Keep an open mind. You’ll love it. Appears to be a family run affair. Two whole grilled sea bream, chips, salad, soft drinks and tea TL2550.
The beach is well off the beaten track, entry for cars to park is TL300
Two sun beds and umbrella TL1000 for the day."

"Beautiful place and nature destroyed by human greediness. You have to pay to park there, we paid 300 lira for a small car, and that apparently was for the shower and toilet facilities. Both of which were disgusting, and very primitive. The restaurant itself is like an improvised kiosk where one portion of chips costs 300 lira (about 6 pounds). The chips were undercooked, and full of oil. The doner kebab that myself and my wife ordered was smelling rotten and we had to return it. Staff was rude, unprofessional and ruined the hole experience of this beautiful place."

"We wandered through in the morning and took note of the menu board quoting prices of meals from 550-650TL beers 250TL coke 150TL and decided we’d come back for lunch.
As we sat down for lunch we asked for the menu but we were told we had 4 options and its 1200TL fixed price per person.
We commented that we’d seen the menu in the morning and the pricing was significantly less to which he replied it’s fixed price for people from the boats (that being us as we are on a yacht). We continued to question the price gouging and he said he’d ask the owner Rand returns with menus and pricing we’d seen earlier.
We would never have stayed and paid the 1200TL per person
Final bill was 2300TL for 4 people as we shared 2 mains/chips/3 beers and 1 coke.
We paid cash - didn’t ask if they took card
CHECK PRICING BEFORE ORDERING AND REQUEST RHE PROPER MENU. Keep a copy on the table to avoid the old switcharoo or being overcharged !!
It’s a nice location."
