"This castle, which is located on the rocky land on the slope overlooking the Çaltı Stream, can be reached today. The two-line inscription indicating the construction of the castle is located on the door. The castle is made of cut stone, inside and outside. Only part of the walls belonging to the outer fortress has survived to the present day. The Monumental Lion Horoscope is here. This sign has been raised 8 meters over a 10-meter front. The inner fortress walls on a straight line running from the Aslanlı Zodiac to the north were completely destroyed, except for the bases of a few zodiac feet and part of the body walls. It is an important work in terms of being an authentic Turkish Castle from its foundation to its sign.

Çaltı Çayı'na bakan yamaçta kayalık arazinin üzerinde bulunan bu kalenin günümüze ulaşabilen hali Mengücekoğulları Dönemi'ne aittir. Kalenin yapımını belirten iki satırlık yazıt kapı üzerinde bulunmaktadır. Kale kesme taştan, iç ve dış olmak üzere iki bölümdür. Günümüze yalnızca dış kaleye ait surların bir bölümü gelebilmiştir. Anıtsal Aslanlı Burç buradadır. Bu burç 10 metrelik cephe üzerinden 8 metre yükseltilmiştir. Aslanlı Burç'tan kuzeye doğru devam eden düz bir çizgi üzerindeki iç kale surları, birkaç tane burç ayağı ve beden duvarlarının bir kısmının temelleri dışında tamamen yıkılmıştır. Temelinden burcuna kadar otantik bir Türk Kalesi olması bakımından önemli bir eserdir.
