What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Dinopark Göynük offers a unique dinosaur-themed experience, particularly appealing to young children with its life-size models and play areas. However, many visitors find the park to be overpriced for the condition of its attractions, with additional costs for activities and expensive food. While the natural forest setting is pleasant, the upkeep of animatronics and facilities is a common point of criticism.
"WARNING We took our son here as a break from our all inclusive. We stupidly didn't check the reviews first and can confirm much of the other reviews. There’s no ticket prices on their website and probably just make it up as they go.
The place cost us €75 to enter with two adults and a 4 year old. We actually turned around and got back in the taxi but our 4 year old was distraught about leaving so decided to take the steep leap!
We were met by a photographer who wanted to take a family photo and really wouldn’t take no for an answer. We didn't partake.
We walked the dinosaur trail in about 45min. Most of the dinos are animatronic and pretty rundown and in disrepair. Everything was dirty and neglected.
We visited the trampoline area which was neglected and and looked unsafe.
The rest of the park was horrible and super expensive. Needless to say we cut the visit short and called our taxi back. We just tried to make the best of it for our son but don’t make the same mistake we did and read the reviews.
Save your money and skip this one!"

"Went here for lunch as part of a tour, I can see in the summer this place would be a lot of fun for kids as several parts were closed up such as a small water park and some rides."

"We visited with our 3-year-old son. I had read the negative reviews beforehand but didn’t take them seriously. Don’t make the same mistake!
The park is ridiculously expensive. You can see everything in 2 hours, and it costs €25 per adult. For that price, you get to see a few dinosaurs that are somewhat run-down, with seating for children that is almost falling apart, and distressed animals that are clearly not well.
Besides the absolutely terrible prices:
• 10 minutes of electric car: 100 Lira
• 10 minutes of digging: 150 Lira
• 2 ice creams: 400 Lira
The playground equipment is just rundown and dangerous. While the water in the pool was clean, there was a lot of dirt on the bottom, and the stones were extremely slippery. We will definitely never come back!!!
For the money, it’s better to enjoy a nice meal and let the children play in a playground."

The Dinosaur Experience
Many visitors find the dinosaur trail to be the highlight of their visit. The park's location within a forest means there's natural shade, which is a welcome relief from the Antalya sun. This makes exploring the trail more comfortable, even on warmer days. The animated features, though sometimes dated, add an element of surprise and wonder as the dinosaurs move and roar.
For those interested in a more interactive dinosaur encounter, there are additional paid activities like a 'digging' experience, though details and costs can be inconsistent. The overall impression is that while the dinosaur models are the main draw, their upkeep is a recurring concern for visitors.
Beyond the Dinosaurs: Other Attractions
The park also features an adventure park area with trampolines and a splash pool, perfect for kids to expend energy. However, some reviews mention that these facilities can also appear neglected or unsafe. The availability of a water park is noted, but it seems to be seasonal and may not always be operational.
For a gentler experience, there's a petting zoo with animals like goats, and opportunities for donkey or horse rides, though these often come with an additional fee. A souvenir shop and a restaurant/cafe are also available for refreshments and mementos.
Value and Visitor Feedback
While children often enjoy the park, particularly the dinosaur trail and play areas, adults frequently comment on the rundown state of some exhibits and facilities. The park's pricing for extras like ice cream and activities is also frequently cited as being excessively expensive.
Despite the criticisms, some visitors acknowledge that it can be a fun place for kids, especially if visited during off-peak times or with managed expectations. The natural forest setting is often praised, providing a pleasant environment for exploration.
