It's a highly recommended stop on boat tours from Göcek for its peaceful atmosphere and historical elements like Lycian tombs. "Great day here. Even went on the juggler, I can honestly say I never ever thought I would go on one of them. So much fun."

"Peaceful place, recommend"

"This is a frequent stop for boats departing from Göcek. Legend has it that Bedri Rahmi Eyüpoğlu drew a curious fish on a stone when he visited the restaurant (the only building on the island) in 1974. This is how the place became popular. We couldn't swim here; the water was too murky. Furthermore, I find it incredulous that an artist would take his paint supplies to a deserted island for dinner and paint a picture there. Despite all the harsh weather, this 1974 painting has survived unchanged, its colors unfading, and its untouched appearance. From where the boats dock, you can also easily see the numerous royal tombs on the island."
