Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Atlas Cinema Museum for its insightful exhibits on Turkish cinema history and its engaging special retrospectives, like the Stanley Kubrick exhibition. The opportunity to watch classic films in a historic setting is a significant draw. However, some find the museum's size modest and wish for more extensive collections.

"Pick up the phone, bro! It's so bad, it's good=) I don't like Star Wars, and I don't know anything about Turkish cinema. But! After visiting the museum, I decided to change that. And here's the first good news! A large collection of cameras and projectors, lots of movie clips. Top-notch! I don't even like Star Wars much. But, it's just incredible, the cheap models in a wild setting! It will be incredibly interesting for all fans. In summary: a good non-Greek-Roman museum, old rarities, the history of cinema. It will be interesting for older children (8-14). I recommend it after the tower."

"Nowadays, there is an exhibition of Star Wars on the upper floor called "Fans of The Galaxy". Apart from this, the Istanbul Cinema Museum sheds tremendous light on Turkish Cinema, known as Turkey's "Green Glass". My advice is to go one day during the day, not 2-3 hours. to both the Cinema Museum and Star Wars because there is so much content. You can visit it in 2 hours, but you won't enjoy it."

"Such an atmospheric, historical cinema at the centre of Taksim area. Very nice interior, big cinema hall where you feel the spirit of watching a good movie."
