"The building, which was called Mesudiye Hotel at the time, where the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk stayed between May 25 and June 13, 1919, has been arranged as a museum.

The brick building, located on the route of the Liberation Road and on the Street, has two floors on the ground floor. There are 4 rooms on the first floor and 5 rooms on the second floor. The building, which has a wooden ceiling and floor, is covered with a hipped roof. On the first floor of the hotel, two rooms facing each other on the northwest and northeast sides, one of which is a study and the other a bedroom, were arranged for Atatürk.

The museum contains newspaper articles, pictures, memories and ethnographic works from that period. It is impossible not to get emotional while visiting. I think every Turkish person should visit this place to understand the War of Independence."
