"The site is free to access and if you bring your hiking boots you can spent a nice afternoon exploring the ruins. Excavations are still ongoing and some parts are harder to find than others. Any fan of ancient history will have fun wandering through olive groves full of pottery shards to find the Roman baths, the forum, theater, ancient port, and so on.
And if you have space in your backpack maybe bring some food for the very friendly stray dogs."
