Reviews Summary

Reviews for Hammam Anti-Stress Sousse are mixed, with some guests reporting a truly authentic and relaxing experience, praising the staff and value for money. However, others have encountered issues with communication, massage pressure, and felt the treatments were rushed or not up to par, suggesting potential inconsistencies in service quality.

"AVOID!

Was recommended to visit this place due to the prices being reasonable in comparison to the hotel. We communicated via WhatsApp which was very easy. We went as a couple and told them we had kids with us (6 and 4yr old) which they were happy to watch whilst we got the treatment done. We were explained that the treatments will be done separately and we wouldn’t see each other.
My experience (female):
i got the gold package. I was given tea and then taken in to start the treatment some salt was put in a bucket and my feet were soaked in there. I was asked if i was pregnant as i had belly rolls whilst siting to which i replied no and that I’m just fat. (I didn’t mind but anyone else would have minded)! After this i was put on the slab and scrubbed for the hammam after which i was think she put something on and i was told to rinse off. Then after this i was standing and she applied a oud face mask to my face and body (whilst standing) then i sat down after 5min again i washed and a hair mask was applied to my hair disgustingly. Washed again. Hammam was done.
Masaage very little pressure was applied i just felt all dirty again and oil was applied on my hair after the hair mask and hair washed?! I felt very dirty horrible experience. The lady kept huffing and puffing she was tired!

Also there were two ladies they before me getting hammam done they were treated like royalty they spoke french.

My husbands experience:
He only got the massage and he said very little pressure was applied like caressing even though he said it wasn’t enough. The masseur was talking to him the whole time so he couldn’t relax! He asked him where his from and when my husband said pakistan he said he had friends there but he cant visit because he dont have money!! He spoke about how he didn’t like Morocco people because apparently they’re rude? My husband was in more pain than to start with. He recommended 3 more sessions and without his consent booked him for the next day.

All in all please dont go because it’s reasonably priced, it’s rubbish waste of time and money. My poor kids were so tired and the time it took was not on the treatments but a lot of dilly dally i mean whats the point of the appointment then. All the treatments were a big joke!! I appreciate the booking system they had and that they were accommodating to my kids but i will never go back! I felt very vulnerable and pressured i also felt that if i could speak french or Arabic i may have had a different experience."

"My partner and I came here our last day of vacation to relax with the gold package. We both felt pampered like little babies. The women who took care of me were so sweet and professional. This was my first Tunisian hammam (I’ve gone to hammams in Morocco before) and it absolutely lived up to my expectations. The place was very beautiful and the price was very fair. Will absolutely return when we are back in Sousse!"

"A truly authentic and relaxing experience – perfect for first-timers!

My wife and I visited the Anti-Stress Hammam in Sousse and had an absolutely amazing time! It was our very first hammam experience, and we’re so happy we chose to do it here — authentic, professional, and incredibly relaxing.

From the moment we contacted them, the service was exceptional. When we asked about getting there, they even arranged for a taxi to pick us up directly from our hotel — super convenient and stress-free, just like their name promises!

The staff were kind, respectful, and clearly experienced. They explained the whole process gently and made us feel completely comfortable, even as first-timers. The hammam itself was clean, peaceful, and beautifully warm — a true escape from the outside world.

We felt refreshed, relaxed, and absolutely glowing afterwards. It was the perfect couple experience, and we're genuinely happy that our first-ever hammam was such a wonderful and authentic one.

If you're in Sousse and looking for real relaxation, we can wholeheartedly recommend Anti-Stress Hammam. It’s not just a treatment — it’s an experience you’ll remember.

Thank you for taking such good care of us! 🌿🧖‍♀️🧖‍♂️"
