What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Dili Port is a functional transport hub with historical significance, offering a glimpse into local life and serving as the gateway to islands like Atauro. While not a major tourist attraction, visitors appreciate the cleaner port and the friendly people, though some note there isn't much to 'see' beyond its primary purpose. It's a place for a brief look and historical reflection.
"Stopped in for a look, as I got off HMAS Jervis Bay here back in 2000. Port and entrance to Dili is so much cleaner now. Saw the only Bulldozer in the country rusting away on the dock. Pity they didn’t put it to better use. Overall good for a look but not much to see."
