What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently rave about the Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park's breathtakingly beautiful turquoise waters and pristine, uninhabited cays. The park offers incredible snorkeling and exploration opportunities, making it a must-visit for boaters. However, the lack of Wi-Fi and limited cell service can be a drawback for some.
"We experienced the park on a 42-foot catamaran. The water is pristine and you will never see such beautiful turquoise colors! We snorkeled and paddle boarded and explored some of the uninhabited cays. We spent about 4 days in the park. Absolutely breathtaking. This area is only accessible by boat."
Katia Spiess
"Absolutely beautiful! The waters are breathtakingly beautiful shades of blue and green. Only accessible by boat and well worth the planning to get here. Many trails and snorkeling spots to explore."
Allison Radkay
"Very beautiful place to visit. They do not have wifi and barely any cell service. Had to hike up the hill to the very top to get very little cell service. But, there's really no need for service because of the beauty it holds. If you go on a dinghy ride south of the visitor center, there is spot where there is this cave or tunnel. If you hit it at the right time and tide, it's a great spot for diving and body surfing. But have to be safe. Awesome place! Oh, and you might stumble across treasure hunts. (Only clue I'll give)"

Shroud Cay's lazy river can be a gentle and fun experience for kids to float along. Remember to pack plenty of sunscreen, hats, and snacks, as amenities can be limited. The lack of cell service can also be a blessing, encouraging kids to disconnect and engage with the natural beauty around them.

Consider visiting during the shoulder seasons for potentially lower accommodation and tour prices. The sheer beauty of the park is its own reward, and many of its most breathtaking sights don't come with a hefty price tag.
💑 Couples & Romantic Getaways
Consider a stay on Stocking Island, which offers a more tranquil vibe compared to the busier parts of Exuma. Enjoy sunset cocktails at Chat 'n' Chill or find a quiet spot on a secluded beach for a romantic picnic. The park's protected status ensures that much of its beauty remains pristine and untouched, providing a truly magical backdrop for a couple's getaway.
