Reviews Summary
Lucaya Beach is praised for its beautiful white sand and clear turquoise waters, offering a relaxing escape. Visitors appreciate the convenience of resort day passes for amenities and the vibrant atmosphere of the nearby Port Lucaya Marketplace. Some note that the area has undergone redevelopment and that water activities are limited.
"My husband and I got a day pass so we could go to the beach here. We were on a cruise and when we went to get a taxi, this beach was recommended as being more secure than the one we really wanted to go to. It is a very nice beach and the food and drinks served on the beach were magnificent. We got the conch fritters and they were delicious. They gave us some many, we could not eat them all. The chairs were quite comfortable and the water was beautiful. We only had a few hours here but really enjoyed those few hours. The area surrounding the beach looked pretty empty for the most part. We had been here in 2015 and hardly recognized the general area. A little research revealed that is about to be redeveloped after hurricane damage."
