We're here in mid-November. The bats appeared just a few minutes before it got dark at 5.50pm. A steady stream of thousands and thousands flew out for at least 30 minutes and are still emerging in the dark. Unless you have a good camera it's impossible to get good photos... just enjoy the experience and what you see with your eyes rather than through a lens.
