"A historic landmark in the heart of Bangkok.
Victory Monument is not just a traffic hub — it’s a symbol of Thai history surrounded by city life. With easy access to BTS, buses, and countless street food stalls nearby, it’s a convenient meeting point and a great spot for people-watching. The surrounding area is always lively, making it a must-see location if you want to experience the city’s everyday rhythm."

"Lively and full of energy—Victory Monument is one of my favorite spots in Bangkok. I pass by almost every morning on my run. Always crowded, with lots of food stalls and shops.
You can have a good view from above flyover. It’s difficult to get to closer as many cars passing.
As a tourist, unless you have must visit check box then you can visit but nothing really much to see so if you have very little time in BKK, you can skip. That’s what I think. But it is indeed an iconic spot."

"Iconic monument connected to rich Thai history. It symbolizes the victory of good over evil in Buddhist parlance, that's what I was told. You can view this monument from the rooftops of all nearby hotels. Very important location. If you continue along the main road, you can hit Central World, and even Sukhumvit area (although a taxi is better.)"
