Reviews Summary

Trok Mor Morning Market is a beloved local spot offering an authentic taste of Bangkok life with incredibly affordable street food and fresh produce. Visitors rave about the delicious flavors, the vibrant atmosphere, and the genuine local experience, though some find certain unique food items an acquired taste. It's a must-visit for early risers seeking genuine Thai culture and cuisine.

"Trok Mor Morning Market is a traditional spot where mostly locals go. Prices are very cheap compared to famous night markets like Jodd Fair, so I highly recommend coming here for breakfast.

My favorite was the roasted pork (sadly I only bought one bag!). There’s also the famous lady selling Thai tea 🧋 with her funny makeup, plus a unique snack cooked in a takoyaki pan with toppings like coconut meat 🥥 and corn 🌽.

I tried the avocado juice 🥑, but the taste was a bit unusual (almost like ginger was added).

If I were a local, I’d definitely shop here regularly since they also sell fresh vegetables, meat, and fish."

"I highly recommend visiting this morning market, especially for tourists. You’ll find plenty of delicious food here — from traditional Thai desserts made by local grandmas to authentic Thai dishes that locals enjoy, all at very reasonable prices. There are so many options to choose from!

The easiest way to get here is by MRT to Sam Yot Station, then walk to the market. Since the market is located in a small alley, parking can be quite difficult.

I suggest coming around 6:30–8:00 AM. If you arrive later, some of the most popular dishes might already be sold out. This market is a great way to experience the local vibe while enjoying tasty and affordable Thai food. Definitely worth a visit!"

"Located near Sanam Luang. This market is open only in the morning. Take the bus and get off at Sanam Luang, then walk while jogging, enjoying the quiet streets around Sanam Luang. the location is in a small but very long alley. I can eat as much food as I want. the price is cheap with a variety of traditional Thai snacks. Not a few foreigners also come here, lots of monks passing by and local people having snacks. Halal food is also available."
