Reviews Summary

Wat Sam Phran is lauded for its unique and unforgettable dragon-wrapped pink tower, offering a spiritual and visually stunning experience away from the usual tourist crowds. Visitors appreciate the free entry and the opportunity to climb inside the dragon for panoramic views. However, some find the constant requests for donations and the temple's somewhat dilapidated state to be minor drawbacks.

"Yes, it's true. You drive an hour by car (e.g Grab), but it is definitely worth riding to this very nice place where you can walk through the dragon to the top of this incredible building. Please make sure that you have some cash money with you. At the entrance a very nice nun will offer you flowers, incense sticks and a ribbon. All the things that is needed to get happiness. Besides the dragon building there is another temple and a garden with various creatures. Just a hint: if you return by car, you can make a stop at the big Buddha which you can see along the highway to the dragon building."

"V special monument.
Dragon wrapping around the building.
You will be asked a donation of 80 baht per person when you are inside the red building not outside.
There is a lift to bring you to the top but you can walk up through the “belly” of the dragon.
Great view at the top.
We reached quite late around closing but the priestess kindly welcomed us."
