What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Tiger Muay Thai offers a comprehensive martial arts training experience with world-class coaches and facilities, attracting a global clientele. While many praise the high-level instruction, vibrant community, and convenient on-site amenities, some visitors find the large beginner class sizes and organizational aspects to be less than ideal, suggesting alternative gyms for more personalized technical focus.
"Tiger Muay Thai? Never again!
I've been coming here regularly since 2018, and it's no wonder customers are leaving in droves. The best trainers and coaches have left the gym, and TMT has lost its magic. It's just mass processing in Muay Thai and fitness classes, and the trainers don't put in much effort anymore. I train in my home country and spent a week in the beginner class for fun with my friends. When I wanted to move up to the intermediate class, the “head trainer” said I had to show him some shadow boxing first, and after 10 seconds he wanted to send me back to the beginner class... Unbelievable! I could easily join the advanced class, but that just shows how little they know here. If you want fitness, go to Unit27. If you want real Muay Thai, go to Dragon or Bang Tao. I will advise everyone I know not to go to TMT."

"From the first time I trained at TMT in 2008 when group sessions were 3 hours long to my private with Kru Moo in 2025,TMT has never disappointed.
This is a world class gym that will teach you everything you could possibly need or want when it comes to combat sports.
Shout out to Kru Moo.Thank you for everything."

"I was there for a month and absolutely loved it: The Muay Thai was as amazing as expected, but I dropped into the 9:30am no-gi Jiu Jitsu class and it was outstanding. The session was well structured—efficient warm-up, clear technique breakdowns, and plenty of purposeful rounds to apply what we learned. Big shoutout to guest coaches Oscar and Sophie: their coaching chemistry is awesome. The vibe was friendly but competitive, perfect for travelers and regulars alike. Highly recommend this class whether you’re sharpening comp game or just leveling up while in Phuket."
