What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Ao Nang Beach resorts generally offer a great family getaway with excellent facilities like pools and kids' clubs, and a prime beachfront location close to dining. However, some guests have experienced issues with room humidity, bathroom cleanliness, and inconsistent service, particularly during check-in and breakfast. Despite these drawbacks, the convenience and overall experience often lead to positive recommendations.
"We are absolutely in love with this resort! It’s the perfect getaway for our family of two adults and a 5-year-old. Our kid enjoying the kids’ club and all the activities.
The service here is top-notch, with the staff being incredibly polite, respectful, and attentive. The pools are wonderful, and all the facilities are spotless. The food at the restaurant was good, though could be improved. The location is perfect, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby."

"We stayed here for our honeymoon, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The receptionist was not very welcoming during check-in. I would expect a warmer and more professional check-in, especially when it’s a special occasion like a honeymoon. We also didn’t receive any congratulations or acknowledgment from the hotel. Of course, it’s not something necessary, but it would have been a nice gesture to simply say, “Congratulations.”
The rooms are extremely humid and hot. You only receive one key card, and the air conditioner does not work when you are not in the room. So if you’re out all day, the room becomes very hot and damp. There is also no soundproofing.
The bathroom is a joke — it’s dirty and smells terrible when you shower. The bathroom door doesn’t even close properly, and you can’t dry your hair inside because there is no plug. They only provide two large towels for two people. Usually, in a 4-star hotel, each guest receives a large, a medium, and a small towel. We also didn’t have any bathrobes.
Our air conditioner was broken. The hotel sent a technician, who said he would fix it the next day. We asked if we could move to another room (even in a different price category). At first, they said no, but later mentioned they had one room available. We checked it, but it had mold and a strong moldy smell. When we told the hotel manager, he simply replied, “So, you will sleep in your room then?”
Breakfast was exceptionally bad. The coffee tasted strange, and there was no lactose-free milk available. They had low-fat and regular milk, but both were left open and unrefrigerated near the coffee machine. The dishes were dirty, I had to look for a clean plate. The hotel staff didn’t monitor or take care of the buffet properly. One guest was openly coughing over all the bread, and another dropped fruit on the floor and left it there. The staff didn’t even clean it up. Overall, the personnel didn’t seem friendly or welcoming, most of them looked annoyed or uninterested.
The hotel does not have any security at the beach. Non-hotel guests constantly pass through the beach area, pool area, and restaurants. It would be very easy for anyone to access the rooms."

"Excellent location — the hotel opens right onto the beach, with plenty of bars and restaurants just behind, and Ao Nang Walking Street is only a short stroll away. Very convenient for exploring and enjoying the local vibe.
The pools are fantastic, especially for kids with fun slides and clean surroundings. Rooms are spacious and well-maintained, though our block (6) was a bit of a walk. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Breakfast buffet is decent but caters more to international tastes — typical Indian food lovers might find it less appealing, though multi-cuisine eaters will enjoy the spread.
Do note that the hotel collects a caution deposit of THB 3000 at check-in, which is refunded during checkout.
Overall, a great stay for families and those looking for a beachfront hotel with easy access to everything Ao Nang has to offer."
