Reviews Summary
Ton Chong Fa Waterfall is a beautiful natural attraction with refreshing waters and a unique fish spa experience. Visitors praise its affordability and the invigorating hike to its multiple tiers. However, the trails can be challenging and slippery, requiring proper footwear, and some find the swimming pools smaller than expected.
"Great waterfall to visit. Plenty of water in May. It's a decent trek in, maybe 2km and a 100m elevation. Not ideal for oldies or tiny kids. Worth getting to the top, the signature falls - the swimming in #2 or visiting the "fish spa" at the beginning.
Entry is Bt20 for locals, Bt100 for foreigners.
It is a national park, so don't be surprised if you meet some wildlife. We saw a snake, plenty of lizards and some overly friendly fish. Bug spray recommended."

"This waterfall is so beautiful 🥺 best to visit during rainy season. We went in May, lots of water, had a nice swim and meditation under the waterfall - it was so magical, we ended up going there twice during our trip in Khao Lak.
Make sure to wear good grip shoes >> rocky path and bring bugs spray!"
Pearl Pichapach
"Only 100 baht for entrance and great waterfalls. You can get to to the first waterfall Stage quite easy but after that you have to do quite some hiking and walking through water. We've done it with sandals quite easy and some parts can be done barefoot.
The water is very clean and fresh and nice for a dip. But don't expect to have a relaxing day as the pool areas are quite small"

The Trek to the Tiers
Be prepared for a significant amount of sweat, especially during warmer months. Bringing ample water is crucial, and some visitors even suggest bringing beer or other beverages to keep spirits high. The natural environment is lush and tropical, so expect to encounter various forms of wildlife, including lizards and insects. The experience is often described as a 'jungle gem,' offering a true immersion into nature.
Nature's Spa and Refreshment
While the pools at the lower tiers can get crowded, the higher tiers offer more secluded spots for swimming. It's more about a quick, refreshing plunge in a natural setting.
Practicalities and Preparedness
Bug spray is a non-negotiable item, as the jungle environment is home to mosquitoes and other insects. Bringing your own water and snacks is also highly recommended, as food options at the waterfall are scarce. Some reviewers even suggest bringing beer or other drinks to enhance the experience. Finally, be aware of the park's no-smoking policy, as some visitors have noted others disregarding it.
