What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Klong Dao Beach is praised for its wide, sandy shores, calm and shallow waters ideal for families, and stunning sunset views. However, some visitors note issues with beach cleanliness and the presence of jellyfish during certain seasons, which can impact swimming safety.
"Nice beach to come and see. Came here in low season so it was virtually a ghost town. Local area is about 80% closed but still a huge beach that spreads right round. There is a lot of rubbish lying around though which considering you have to pay to enter the island you’d expect it to be a bit cleaner. Box jellyfish fish and blue bottles are present in this beach so be aware."

"The sunset I witnessed on this beach was probably one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen!! No trash on the beach and the water was really warm. Would definitely recommend going there for sunset!"
Fabi M.
"Quite perfect holiday beach. Fine sand, wide, long, clear water, easy access to water, sand everywhere, flat seabed (no rocks as far as I can tell).
The underwater slope at this beach is just ideal, providing a smooth transition to deeper water.
Lots of space for activities both on the beach and in the water.
A bit busy in February. Yet OK."
