"I have always love The Slate... This is my first time at Rivet and I have booked 2 nights for different experience.
I have been making sourdough at home... Their sourdough bun is so good, the crust is crispy... They should reduce the salt in their dough (I am low sodium and use less salt in my own). It is fresh, you can tell.
First night, I had their set menu.. the complementary starter is so good... Much better than the salmon tartar (I am not a big salmon fan), the Australia angua ramp is to die for... It is just so good. It is very thoughtful for them to serve a lime sorbet before that to soften your pellet... The chocolate fondant is a very generous portion, though I am not a dessert fan, I finished it clean.... 😁😁.
It's definitely a great experience at Rivet. Last few times I tried Black Ginger, The Slate never disappoint 🙏"
