Reviews Summary

Princess Mother Memorial Park is a beautifully maintained, tranquil green space dedicated to the beloved Princess Mother. Visitors praise its serene atmosphere, lush gardens, and the informative exhibition hall, describing it as a peaceful oasis away from the city's hustle. It's a place for quiet reflection and appreciation of nature and royal history.

"A Quiet Tribute to a Remarkable Woman

We found the Princess Mother Memorial Park completely by accident – and what a serene discovery it was. Tucked away from Bangkok’s hustle and bustle, this peaceful and lovingly kept garden feels like a sanctuary. The entire space is dedicated to Somdet Phra Srinagarindra, the Princess Mother of King Rama IX, known for her modesty, deep compassion, and tireless social work, especially for Thailand’s rural and mountain communities.

The small museum and traditional-style buildings give quiet insight into her life and values. Everything about the park seems to reflect her gentle character: unpretentious, nurturing, and full of grace.

Entrance is free, and there were barely any other visitors when we went – a true hidden gem. It felt like walking through someone’s story, carefully preserved and shared with deep respect. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a meaningful, peaceful stop during your stay in Bangkok."

"Took a steady walk from Chinatown across Chao Phraya Sky Park and through a local neighborhood to find this lovely park. No fee to stroll through well landscaped gardens, a small oasis and very peaceful. There is a small charity shop, restrooms, and a museum commemorating the Princess Mother. Lots of places to sit, relax in the shade."
