What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Nobu Bangkok consistently impresses with its breathtaking city views and exceptional Japanese-Peruvian fusion cuisine, particularly the signature Miso Black Cod. While the unique entrance and upscale ambiance are highlights, some visitors note potential elevator waits and occasional service slowness. Despite minor logistical quirks, the overall experience is highly regarded for its memorable atmosphere and culinary excellence.
"Nobu Bangkok makes a strong first impression before you’ve even stepped inside. The location is excellent, and the arrival feels properly polished — the moment our cab pulled up, we were met by a team who smoothly guided us through the lobby and toward the elevator. That said, there’s only one lift going all the way to the top floor where Nobu sits, so expect a bit of a wait. Minor hiccup, but worth flagging if you’re hungry and impatient (which, at Nobu prices, you probably are).
Once you arrive, though… wow. The views over Bangkok are some of the best I’ve ever seen. There are indoor tables, but honestly, sitting inside feels like ordering room service at a beach resort — why would you? The outdoor terrace is stunning, with most tables offering incredible panoramic views of the city. This alone makes it a must-visit in Bangkok.
The food was exactly what you’d expect from Nobu — exceptional. Every dish lived up to the brand’s reputation, with nothing feeling underwhelming or phoned in. If you’re familiar with Nobu standards, you’ll be very happy here.
Service overall was very good: professional, friendly, and attentive once engaged. The only downside was that it felt slightly slow at times, particularly when trying to get a waiter’s attention to place an order. Nothing dramatic, just not quite as slick as you might expect at this level.
All in all, Nobu Bangkok absolutely delivers — breathtaking views, top-tier food, and a memorable atmosphere. A few small logistical quirks, but easily outweighed by the experience. Go for sunset, sit outside, and enjoy one of the best dining views Bangkok has to offer."

"Third time at a Nobu restaurant but the first time at this location. As always it was amazing. Right at the beginning the welcoming and friendly staff greeted when we arrived. The decor and getting to the restaurant was such an experience building up to the dining room! It definitely gets you prepared and reminds you this is a special and unique time. Food was great and service was great as well. My favourite dish besides the sashimi was the miso COD! Will be back here again. If you get the opportunity to go to the rooftop bar after your dinner it is an absolute treat and mandatory, one of the best views of Bangkok! Left us speechless."

☆☆☆ Value
Beautiful setting with many seating options on 2 levels. Top level is an open terrace and bar that serves sushi and small bites. There are lots of outdoor tables with more diners occupied. Nobu is on 57~58th floor in a high-rise has a great view of the Bangkok skyline.
As for the food, is a mix of Japanese with Peruvian twist. The best is still the famous miso cod and yellowtail carpaccio, rest of the dishes is average. Service is good though.
There is parking at the Empire building. Or take the skytrain and get off at Chong Nonsi station within a short walk on the overpass with direct passage to the building. Follow the sign says “EA”, because the 2 elevators dedicated to reach Nobu and other high floor restaurants are tucked away in a corner of the building."
